Manual Unlock Methods

  • Flat-head screwdriver

Step-by-Step Unlock Procedures

  1. Power Cycle Method: Unplug the washer from power outlet for 2 minutes, then plug back in to reset the lock mechanism.
  2. Control Panel Reset: Press and hold the "Start/Pause" button for 5-10 seconds until the lock disengages.
  3. Manual Release Lever: Locate the manual release lever inside the door frame or control panel access area.
  4. Emergency Unlock Cord: Pull the emergency unlock cord located near the door hinge or behind the control panel.
  5. Drain Water First: If washer contains water, run drain/spin cycle before attempting to unlock.
  6. Check for Error Codes: Note any displayed error codes that may indicate the cause of the lock issue.
  7. Safety Check: Ensure washer has completely stopped before attempting to open the lid.
Warning: Never force the lid open as this may damage the locking mechanism. Always disconnect power before attempting manual unlocks.
