Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Adjustable wrench

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Location Preparation: Select a solid, level floor location near water supply and drain connections with adequate clearance.
  2. Remove Shipping Materials: Remove all transit bolts and packaging materials from the washer drum and exterior.
  3. Water Connection: Connect hot and cold water supply lines using Maytag recommended hoses and ensure proper sealing.
  4. Drain Installation: Install drain hose with proper height loop to prevent siphoning and ensure adequate drainage flow.
  5. Electrical Hookup: Connect to dedicated 120V, 60Hz grounded outlet. Commercial models may require 240V connection.
  6. Level Adjustment: Adjust front leveling legs to ensure washer is perfectly level in all directions.
  7. Initial Test Run: Run diagnostic cycle to verify proper installation, check for leaks and confirm operational status.
