Step-by-Step Installation
- Location Preparation: Select a solid, level floor location near water supply and drain connections with adequate clearance.
- Remove Shipping Materials: Remove all transit bolts and packaging materials from the washer drum and exterior.
- Water Connection: Connect hot and cold water supply lines using Maytag recommended hoses and ensure proper sealing.
- Drain Installation: Install drain hose with proper height loop to prevent siphoning and ensure adequate drainage flow.
- Electrical Hookup: Connect to dedicated 120V, 60Hz grounded outlet. Commercial models may require 240V connection.
- Level Adjustment: Adjust front leveling legs to ensure washer is perfectly level in all directions.
- Initial Test Run: Run diagnostic cycle to verify proper installation, check for leaks and confirm operational status.
