Stackable Laundry Center

Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Adjustable wrench
  • Level
  • Screwdrivers (flat and Phillips)
  • Pliers
  • Tape measure
  • Stacking kit (included)

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Choose Installation Location: Select a location with adequate space for both units, proper ventilation, and access to plumbing and electrical connections.
  2. Prepare Floor Surface: Ensure floor is solid, level, and can support the combined weight of both appliances.
  3. Install Washer First: Position washer in desired location and level using adjustable feet.
  4. Install Stacking Kit: Attach stacking bracket to top of washer according to kit instructions.
  5. Place Dryer: Carefully lift and position dryer onto stacking bracket, ensuring secure fit.
  6. Connect Water Supply: Connect hot and cold water supply lines to washer inlet valves using new hoses.
  7. Connect Drain Hose: Route washer drain hose to standpipe or laundry sink with proper high loop.
  8. Ventilation Setup: Connect dryer vent hose to exterior vent, ensuring minimal bends and proper clearance.
  9. Electrical Connection: Connect both units to properly grounded outlets. Dryer may require 240V outlet.
  10. Test Run: Run both units through complete cycles to check for proper operation and leaks.
Warning: Stacking must be performed by two people. Ensure stacking kit is properly installed to prevent tipping hazard.

Troubleshooting
