Installation Guide
Tools Needed:
- Adjustable wrench
- Level
- Screwdrivers (flat and Phillips)
- Pliers
- Tape measure
- 4-inch diameter rigid metal exhaust duct
Step-by-Step Installation
- Choose Installation Location: Select a location near necessary electrical connection and venting on a solid, level floor.
- Remove Shipping Materials: Remove all shipping bolts and packaging materials from the dryer.
- Install Exhaust System: Install 4-inch diameter rigid metal exhaust duct to outside. Avoid sharp bends and long runs.
- Electrical Connection: Connect to a properly grounded 240V, 60Hz outlet. Gas models require 120V outlet for controls.
- Gas Connection (Gas Models): Connect to gas supply using new flexible gas connector. Check for leaks with soap solution.
- Level the Dryer: Adjust the leveling legs to ensure the dryer is level from front to back and side to side.
- Test Run: Run the dryer through a complete cycle to check for proper operation and venting.
