Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Adjustable wrench
  • Level
  • Screwdrivers (flat and Phillips)
  • Pliers
  • Tape measure
  • 4-inch duct clamp

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Choose Installation Location: Select a location near necessary electrical or gas connections on a solid, level floor with proper ventilation.
  2. Remove Shipping Materials: Remove all shipping bolts and packaging materials from the dryer.
  3. Ventilation Setup: Install 4-inch diameter metal ductwork, keeping it as straight and short as possible with minimal bends.
  4. Gas Connection (Gas Models): Connect to gas supply using new flexible gas connector. Check for leaks with soap solution.
  5. Electrical Connection: Connect to properly grounded 120V, 60Hz outlet for electric models or 120V for gas models ignition system.
  6. Level the Dryer: Adjust the leveling legs to ensure the dryer is level from front to back and side to side.
  7. Test Run: Run the dryer through a complete cycle to check for proper operation and ventilation.
Warning: Gas dryer installations must be performed by a qualified technician. Proper ventilation is critical to prevent fire hazards and carbon monoxide buildup.

Troubleshooting
