Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Adjustable wrench
  • Level
  • Screwdrivers (flat and Phillips)
  • Pliers
  • Tape measure
  • 4-inch diameter rigid metal duct

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Choose Installation Location: Select a location near electrical outlet and venting on a solid, level floor with adequate clearance.
  2. Remove Shipping Materials: Remove all shipping bolts and packaging materials from the dryer.
  3. Install Exhaust Vent: Connect 4-inch diameter rigid metal duct to dryer exhaust outlet. Avoid flexible plastic ducts.
  4. Gas Connection (Gas Models): Connect gas line using approved flexible connector. Check for leaks with soap solution.
  5. Electrical Connection: Connect to a properly grounded 120V, 60Hz, AC only outlet. Electric models require 240V outlet.
  6. Level the Dryer: Adjust the leveling legs to ensure the dryer is level from front to back and side to side.
  7. Test Run: Run the dryer through a complete cycle to check for proper operation and venting.

Troubleshooting

Problem Possible Cause Solution
Dryer won't start Power issue, door not closed properly, start button not held Check power supply, ensure door is latched completely, hold start button for 3 seconds
