Installation Guide

Tools Needed:

  • Adjustable wrench
  • Level
  • Screwdrivers (flat and Phillips)
  • Pliers
  • Tape measure
  • 4-inch diameter rigid metal duct

Step-by-Step Installation

  1. Choose Installation Location: Select a location near electrical connection on a solid, level floor with proper ventilation.
  2. Remove Shipping Materials: Remove all shipping bolts and packaging materials from the dryer.
  3. Install Exhaust Duct: Connect 4-inch diameter rigid metal duct to dryer exhaust outlet. Avoid flexible plastic ducts.
  4. Ventilation Setup: Ensure proper outdoor ventilation with maximum duct length of 35 feet (add 5 feet for each 90° elbow).
  5. Electrical Connection: Connect to a properly grounded 240V, 60Hz outlet. Gas models require 120V outlet.
  6. Gas Connection (Gas Models Only): Connect to gas supply using new flexible gas connector. Check for leaks with soap solution.
  7. Level the Dryer: Adjust the leveling legs to ensure the dryer is level from front to back and side to side.
  8. Test Run: Run the dryer through a complete cycle to check for proper operation and ventilation.

Troubleshooting
